Van Tierra is a sophomore student, studying at Gwinnett School of Math Science and Technology in Duluth, Georgia. He is a very diligent and well organized young man. He maintains a straight A Honor roll. He's a member of the Science Olympiad and a member of GSMST's Symphonic Orchestra. Not only he knows how to play Violin at school but also plays guitar at St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church in Snellville. He's also the lead guitarist for The Few That Remain, Anthem 56 and Off The Grid bands. He is also active in volunteering in the community, fundraising events and a dedicated member of the church Life Teen group and a choir member. In the future, he wants to become an Aeronautical Engineer. During his free time he likes playing X-box with his brothers and friends.
